We are excited to be re-launching the Monday Night Kids ministry, which will run on the 4th Monday of each month throughout the school year. Monday, Sept 25th will be our first night. In the past we had 2–3 church congregations help to procure, cook and serve dinners to the kids and their parents. At this time we have no one committed to assist with this after the month of September. The meal is an integral part of this ministry, so we are eagerly seeking assistance in this area.If numbers return to pre-covid numbers, we could see anywhere between 15 to 25 kids plus parents/guardians. With around 10 volunteers, we could see as many as 60 plus people show up for the dinner. Dinners are usually simple in nature, and appropriate for cooking in large quantities. Note that one person from the team should have a food handling certificate from Alberta Health to oversee production.
